Oh my gosh, another earth quake, it was in Burma :(

I was talking to my twin sister on the phone today and she told me she was thinking about getting a new phone because her pink samsung was on the fritz after three years… so I was like alright that sounds good, my keebo is doing me just fine, its durable (because I drop it all the time) and I’ve only had it two years. At this point in time I was not jealous because it was hypothetical, but sure enough I called her back about 2 hours ago and she got a new phone! I guess its an HTC desire… not that I know what that means but for 30 bucks she got the phone and a hot pink skin for it. Sooo I am officially jealous.

It usually happens that her phone plan is up about a year before mine so she ends up getting a cool new brand of technology and I always feel like I’m carrying around something from the dark ages (even though realistically I’m not) IT DRIVES ME MENTAL. I think its partially due to that urge for new technology, the latest version of such and such…. but mostly I think its the twin competition thing. For our whole lives we have had to share everything; womb, room, clothes, friends, birthday parties, and we have pretty much always had the same ‘stuff’ to be “fair”.

That’s probably where a good chunk of the jealousy over the phone thing comes into play…… BUT this time I am going to stand my ground a) because I’m broke b) because I have a perfectly good working phone. The funniest part about the whole situation is that even though my phone is an older model…… at least I know how to use it….

She has NO IDEA how to use hers :)
